For double doors locate the studs on both sides of the door opening.
Attach the mounting boards to the top and bottom of the doorway using drywall anchors and ensure that the mounting boards run straight along the doorway.
Use a socket wrench to tighten with another person or two attach the bottom roller guide and rollers and hang the door on the track.

For this reason it s recommended that you use a header board above your door for installation.
Attach the hanger rollers and hang the door.
Install a header board.
Attach hanger rollers to the door according to the manufacturer s instructions using the supplied carriage bolts washers and nuts.
Anchor your mounting board.
For single doors start about three or four inches up on the hinge side of the door opening and continue for the length of the backer board.
Most barn door rails come standard with pre drilled installation holes at every 16 oc however most older homes or door openings may not have the studs placed exactly where needed to properly position the barn door rail.
