Nowadays many traceurs want to start parkour.
Is parkour on roofs illegal.
Disregard for public property.
These will be the offences.
On the other hand stats are showing that it is expanding day by day and also catching the attention of law enforcing agencies.
I understand your feelings for the subject.
People get away with it because in many places the roofs are easy to access.
But the one common question arises in their mind that is parkour illegal.
However many public buildings have posted no trespassing signs which makes it illegal to be there at all.
The parkour itself is not illegal.
There is no direct law banning parkour in general public places.
Then there s issues with some who trespass onto private property or go on roofs while training.
Parkour itself is not illegal but if you practice on private property you can get cited fined or even arrested for trespassing depending on local laws source.
Although parkour is famous many peoples still don t know about parkour.
And let s be honest.
But in the course of practice if any material like railings walls etc tend to break then the law comes into the picture.
That is most certainly illegal.
If your parkour practice disturbs the general public.
It can be a high risk activity which is why in some situations a traceur someone who does parkour can end up in legal trouble.
But just because this isn t the case doesn t mean that you can practice parkour wherever you want.
And no offense joshbeast but you sound abrasive.
